Temptation of Jezebel Sauce
16 ounces
Captain Rodney's Temptation of Jezebel Sauce brings back a traditional recipe of the Treasure Coast. A sweet and tangy taste of the old south with tropical pineapples, sweet apples, cracked black pepper and a little horseradish for just the right amount of bite. Try it as a glaze over meat and vegetables or serve it as an appetizer with cream cheese and crackers. With just one bite you will see why the Temptation of Jezebel is impossible to resist.
Key Lime Curd
16 ounces
We gave traditional Lemon Curd a tropical twist to create this top of the line Key Lime Curd. We blend pure key lime juice, pure cane sugar, eggs, and sweet cream butter slowly in an open pot to make the Captain’s Private Reserve Key Lime Curd. Serve this “key lime pie in a jar” over teacakes, scones, ginger snaps and pound cake, or spread it between the layers of a coconut cake. Our Key Lime Curd is perhaps best on a spoon straight out of the jar.
Burgundy Boucan Sauce
13 fluid ounces
Centuries ago in the Caribbean, pirates developed a method of preserving wild boar for their long sea voyages, seasoning the meat with French wines and indigenous spices, while cooking it slowly over a pimento (allspice) wood fire. The result was a delicious meat that was called boucan by the French. These pirates became known as boucan-eers, or as we know them today, Buccaneers. Captain Rodney has bottled these spices in a sauce that can be used to barbeque chicken, pork, or beef. Captain Rodney’s Burgundy Boucan Sauce will transform any barbeque into a tropical experience.
